Here’s your chance to dress up and grab a little bit of bling in the process.

The 5th Annual Diamonds and Ice Charity Ball is next Friday, December 2 at the D’Iberville Community Center.

Doors open at 5:30 PM and the event will go until 8:30.

It’s a gala event that will help Carter’s Champions, ball gowns and tuxedos are encouraged.

There will be a silent auction and live entertainment by Unfazed Band.

There’s also an opportunity to win a diamond donated by Haney’s Pawn Shop.

SUMMARY: Matias Orozco, a 13-year-old tennis prodigy from Picayune, is the WXXV Student Athlete of the Week. He discovered his passion for tennis at nine and was coached by his father, Oscar, a former player in Venezuela. Matias quickly rose to prominence, becoming the number one singles player for Picayune’s varsity team and winning the 12U Mississippi State Championship and back-to-back district titles.
