Tropical update: Watching wave with 80% chance of development

Man charged in deadly carjacking of 90-year-old Navy veteran also tied to UH robbery
SUMMARY: Nelson Becket, a 90-year-old Navy veteran, was carjacked and murdered last weekend at a senior living complex in southwest Houston. The accused, 21-year-old Khil Arseno, faces multiple charges, including capital murder, aggravated assault, and tampering with evidence, for allegedly shooting Becket while stealing his car and then running him over. Investigators also connect Arseno to a separate robbery where he allegedly held a University of Houston student at gunpoint days earlier. He is currently being held on a combined bond of $5.25 million.
