He emphasizes the severe health impacts of smoking, showing examples of healthy and smoking-damaged pig lungs to illustrate the effects of tar. Ashmore also highlights how vaping devices can equate to smoking multiple packs of cigarettes. He warns against the popular use of nicotine pouches like Zen, which still carry significant health risks. www.abccolumbia.com – Lee Williams – 2025-03-20 17:12:00

SUMMARY: USPS employees and the American Postal Workers Union are protesting a proposed privatization of the agency, sparked by recent actions from the Trump administration. The protests, including one in Columbia, are part of a nationwide “Day of Action” across 150 cities. Union members fear privatization will lead to employee cuts, reduced hours, slower mail delivery, and higher prices. They also worry it will harm union contracts and affect services such as medicine delivery and voter security.
