3 Mississippi lottery players claim big lottery winnings from weekend drawings

SUMMARY: Three Mississippi residents have won big in the Powerball and Mississippi Match 5 drawings. One player won nearly $250,000 in the Mississippi Match 5 by matching the winning numbers. Two Powerball players won $50,000 each by matching four out of five white balls and the Powerball. Both players had their winnings doubled to $100,000 each after purchasing the Power Play option. Why doesn’t Madison have a municipal election this year? State law allows some cities to opt out
