3 Doors Down to perform concerts in Southaven and Brandon this summer

3 Doors Down, the famous Mississippi-made rock band, is celebrating its sophomore album, Away From The Sun, with performances at amphitheaters across the U.S., including two in the Magnolia State.

The band will be playing all of the songs from the album throughout the concerts, plus all of their biggest hits. Fans in north Mississippi will have the opportunity to witness the band live at Southaven’s BankPlus Amphitheater at Snowden Grove on Friday, August 11 at a time to be determined.

Those in central Mississippi will be able to enjoy 3 Doors Down’s most notable songs on Saturday, September 9 at the Brandon Amphitheater at a time not yet released.

All aboard Delta flight survive after plane flips while landing in Toronto

SUMMARY: A Delta Air Lines flight from Minneapolis to Toronto flipped over while landing at Pearson Airport on February 17, 2025. All 80 passengers and crew survived, with 18 hospitalized for minor injuries. Blowing snow and high winds were reported at the time of landing. Passengers described a forceful landing, with one recalling the plane suddenly rolling sideways. Initial investigations indicated normal communications before the incident, and experts noted that the aircraft is designed to handle adverse weather.
