SUMMARY: The main concern is rain and thunderstorms, with heavy rain expected to move in. Showers and embedded thunderstorms are predicted, with brief wind gusts of 20 to 25 mph. The activity is below severe limits but could lead to ponding and flooded areas. The boundary in the region is the catalyst for the rain. More rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected, with the potential for severe weather over the next 24 hours. Flooding is a slight risk. The activity should end by Wednesday. Drive safely in the heavy rain. More updates to come after the break.
