$27 million hiking trail proposed in Tupelo
SUMMARY: Local leaders in Tupelo are proposing the Kings Creek Greenway, a $27 million, nine-mile hiking and biking trail. It’s a proposal that would give the city of Tupelo a 9-mile walking track all the way across the city.
SUMMARY: The Stewpot Opportunity Center in Jackson is responding to dangerously cold temperatures by extending its hours to 22 per day and providing shelter for up to 30 people.
