26-year-old arrested on murder and aggravated assault charges in Harrison County

On Thursday, October 6, 2022, Sheriff Troy Peterson announced the arrest of 26 year old Jacob Matthew McDonough on two felony counts of aggravated assault on a police ffficer and one felony count of murder.

According to Sheriff Troy Peterson, Deputies responded to Saucier on a report of a shooting.

Upon arrival Deputies and Investigator located a male in the front yard deceased with multiple gunshot wounds.

Deputies spotted the suspect vehicle traveling south on E. Adams Road in Saucier, MS while they were traveling northbound.

Mississippi Senate passes its income tax cut plan

Battle at the Beach returns to Keesler Federal Park with top high school talent
