25 Teams in 25 Days – Long Beach Bearcats

Published

SUMMARY: Long Beach High School welcomes first-year head coach Jacob Massey and adopts a new motto, “win.” The school’s football program has struggled in recent years, with only one winning season in the last decade. Massey aims to change that and sees the team’s 23-game district losing streak as an opportunity rather than an obstacle. He has implemented a nine-week leadership course and has made various changes to help the team achieve success. With 16 returning starters and 16 seniors, the Bearcats are eager to turn their fortunes around this year.
