2 people hospitalized after shooting, Gulfport PD says

Our top story tonight is a shooting at the Riverside Apartments in Gulfport around 5:30 PM, where a man and a woman were shot and taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The woman was airlifted due to her injury’s location. Police found a dozen shell casings around a white sedan at the scene. The motive for the shooting is still unknown, but two individuals have been detained in connection with the incident.

According to Gulfport Police, the shooting happened at the Riverchase Apartments on Highland Avenue around 5:38 p.m.

Three-quarter scale replica of Vietnam Veterans Memorial coming to D’Iberville for limited time
