The skeletal remains, along with a sleeping bag and clothing, were linked to 65-year-old Steven Allen Yance, a Vermont man who had been living at the site and lost contact with his family years earlier. A bone sample led to his identification. Investigators state that no foul play is suspected in his death.

Adding to its uniqueness, the moon will undergo a partial lunar eclipse starting at 7:41 PM, peaking at 9:44 PM, where about 8% of the moon will appear red as it moves through Earth’s penumbra. Weather conditions may affect visibility, with clouds currently over eastern Tennessee and clearer skies expected in the west. As the eclipse continues, the cloud cover is predicted to decrease, providing a better view later in the night.

Tuesday night is when the Harvest Moon peaks in brightness. This year’s full moon in September is extra special because it will be a supermoon with a partial lunar eclipse.
