2 Gulfport women behind bars for crimes that resulted in death of baby

SUMMARY: Two Gulfport women, Savannah Galle Reynolds and Dawn Marie White, have been arrested for their involvement in a series of crimes that led to the death of a baby. Reynolds, who was 37 weeks pregnant at the time, gave birth to a child who later died. Lab results showed the presence of THC, amphetamines, and fentanyl in the baby’s system. Detectives discovered that Reynolds had been taking pills containing fentanyl and methamphetamine during and before giving birth. White had sold fentanyl to Reynolds on multiple occasions and even conspired to buy fentanyl while life-saving measures were being done on the infant. White has been arrested for conspiracy and Reynolds for felonious child abuse.
