2 dead in boating accident in Livingston Parish
SUMMARY: A tragic boat crash on the Tickfaw River claimed two lives and injured six others. The incident, involving two boats near Kings Point, resulted in one boat capsizing. A 27-year-old woman became trapped beneath the capsized vessel; despite being rescued by an agent and a Good Samaritan, she later died in the hospital. Additionally, the body of a 36-year-old man was recovered from the river. Six other individuals from both boats were also taken to the hospital for treatment following the collision, as reported by the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries.

Great end to the weekend before more rain arrives
SUMMARY: The National Hurricane Center reports an 80% chance of tropical development from a low-pressure system bringing significant rain over the next week. Expect a possible tropical depression by early to mid-next week. Rain is anticipated on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with an additional 3 to 4 inches on those days, totaling 5 to 7 inches for the week. A short reprieve is expected by Friday. Tomorrow presents decent weather for tailgating, with mild temperatures. By next week, temperatures will rise into the 80s alongside continued chances for rain. Overall, it will be a rainy week ahead.
Expect to see partly cloudy skies Sunday with morning temperatures starting in the low 70s. Highs will rise to the low to mid 80s.

7 injured following shooting incident on I-75 in Kentucky; person of interest sought
