17 graduate from Kentucky State Police Telecommunications Academy
SUMMARY: Seventeen graduates from the Kentucky State Police Telecommunications Academy were recognized by Gov. Andy Beshear for their commitment to public service. The graduates will serve as telecommunicators, responsible for dispatching state troopers and emergency services. Gov. Beshear emphasized the importance of their work in ensuring safer communities. The graduates were assigned to various posts across Kentucky. Seth Cummins, from Post 1 in Mayfield, received the Charlotte Tanner Valedictorian Award with a perfect GPA. Last year, KSP handled over 1.2 million calls, responding to more than 406,000 requests for assistance.
