Teen pleads in death of USM football player

Hurricane hunters order new planes

The upgrades NOAA’s ongoing research efforts in hurricane monitoring. Adjustments will be made for the structural design differences between the P-3s and C-130s, finding new technology to replace certain radar systems. NOAA has ordered two C-130Js, with an option for four more, aiming to improve hurricane operations and studies, particularly in the Pacific.

Possible developments may occur between Sunday and Tuesday, but anything formed is expected to steer away from the coastline until next Thursday. A cold front will aid in directing the system towards Florida. Meanwhile, current weather remains quiet with scattered showers but no tropical disturbance. Rain accumulation may be limited to about half an inch. Temperatures are around 70ยฐF, with highs near 80ยฐF expected this , followed by a significant cool down early next .
