12 year old girl hit by a car… driver backs up and drives away

Security footage shows a black SUV turning left at Westridge and Wilson, striking the girl before backing up and fleeing the scene. The child, who was walking to Wilson Middle School, fortunately sustained no serious injuries. Authorities believe the driver may reside nearby and are asking local residents to help identify the vehicle, which is suspected to be a black Buick Enclave. This incident is classified as failure to render aid, a felony. Police urge anyone with information to come forward.

Parents of man found dead in Buffalo Bayou asking community for help finding a suspect
