12-year-old girl charged with murder, accused of suffocating 8-year-old cousin in bed
SUMMARY: In Humboldt, Tennessee, a 12-year-old girl has been charged with first-degree murder for allegedly suffocating her 8-year-old cousin, Demeria Hollingsworth, during an argument over an iPhone. Investigators say the girl used bedding in a bunk bed and later attempted to clean up and reposition Demeria’s body, a scene captured by home security video.
