$10 million settlement reached in Oklahoma-Texas boundary dispute
SUMMARY: No charges have been filed regarding a $10 million agreement between Oklahoma and Texas related to boundary lines. This agreement aims to relocate a Lake Texoma pump station back to Texas, ensuring a reliable water supply and improved water quality for millions in North Texas. The issue stems from a misdrawn boundary in 2000, which resulted in ongoing confusion. The revised boundary also includes additional land to clarify the state‘s jurisdiction.
