$1 million bond set for man accused of shooting at Olive Branch police
SUMMARY: Colby Towles, 34, has been charged with two counts of attempted murder of a police officer and conspiracy after shooting at officers in Olive Branch. Initially charged with aggravated assault of an officer, he was later apprehended in Missouri after fleeing the scene. Towles has a $1 million bond and his girlfriend, Sarah Skriver, was charged with being an accessory after the fact. The incident occurred on March 11 during a traffic stop where Towles fired shots at an officer. No officers were injured in the incident. Towles was captured by U.S. Marshals near Bass Pro Angler’s Lodge Hotel.
