Waverly helps East TN flood victims

Waverly Cash Saver is currently gathering its second major donation, focusing on cold weather gear such as blankets, jackets, and children‘s books. Owners plan to deliver the donations to Johnson County, having previously sent 80 grills and 100 camping chairs. Co-owner John Curtis emphasized the importance of giving back, recalling the support Waverly received during its recovery. Additionally, FEMA has approved over $16.8 million in assistance for affected households.

Knox Co. officials see historic voter turnout
SUMMARY: Knox County has set a record for early voting in a presidential election, with approximately 163,000 ballots cast, surpassing the 2020 total by about 10,000 votes. ‘Triple E’ infections on the rise
