1 arrested, 1 wanted for shoplifting at Byram Walmart

SUMMARY: Byram police arrested Shanequia Harvey and are searching for Deneshia Harvey, who allegedly shoplifted nearly $2,000 worth of items from Walmart. Alerted by employees on July 1, officers tracked the suspects' vehicle to a local fireworks stand. Shanequia was arrested with more than $1,900 of stolen goods, including lawn equipment and clothes. Deneshia, also known as “Lit Bit,” evaded capture. Both are linked to multiple shoplifting incidents in the area and have outstanding felony warrants. Smith County man charged in murder-for-hire plot

One arrested, one wanted for fatal North Jackson shooting

SUMMARY: In Jackson, Mississippi, a 19-year-old named Cameron Lee has been arrested by the Jackson Police Department (JPD) and charged with murder following a homicide in North Jackson. Police are also searching for another suspect, 19-year-old Martraviois Douglas, known as 55.6 Snupe, in connection to the same shooting as well as a separate murder case. The victim, Roitavious Greenfield, was shot multiple times on Lake Trace Circle and pronounced dead at a hospital. Anyone with information is urged to contact JPD or Crime Stoppers.
