Source: Mark Adams reuniting with Chris Beard on Ole Miss basketball staff
SUMMARY: Ole Miss head basketball coach Chris Beard is set to reunite with former assistant Mark Adams, pending an official announcement. Adams, who previously worked with Beard at Texas Tech, Arkansas-Little Rock, and during Tech's 2019 national championship run, recently resigned from East Carolina after a suspension due to racially insensitive remarks. Despite a brief, controversial stint as Texas Tech's head coach, Adams brings substantial experience with a 528-248 career record. Beard's first season at Ole Miss saw a strong start but ended poorly. Adding Adams aims to bolster the team's prospects and potentially secure its first national title.
