Downtown Columbus mural taking shape – Home – WCBI TV

Contractor at a NASA center agrees to higher wages after 5-day strike by union workers

Daniel Callihan in federal court Friday for Brunett murder, abduction case
SUMMARY: In Loranger, Louisiana, Daniel Callihan is in federal court for charges related to the murder of Callie Brunett and the abduction of her two daughters, Jalie and Erin. Callie was found dead from multiple stab wounds, while Erin was later found dead from asphyxiation in a Mississippi wooded area. Jalie was found alive. An Amber Alert was issued after their disappearance. Callihan was arrested in Jackson, Mississippi, where evidence of possible human trafficking was discovered. Victoria Cox, an alleged accomplice, was also arrested. Both face multiple charges, including first-degree murder and kidnapping. Callihan has been extradited to Louisiana.
