SUMMARY: Much-needed repairs to the Beach View Drive bridge in Gulf Park Estates are delayed until water and sewer lines are moved. The bridge is currently suitable for cars and SUVs but not for large school buses and trucks. County road crews are ready to reinforce the bridge, but a private utility company must first relocate the attached water and sewer mains. Jackson County Supervisor Randy Bosar noted challenges due to the utility's recent change in ownership.
