'Footloose: The Musical' now showing at the Beau Rivage
SUMMARY: “Footloose The Musical,” presented by B Rage and Rand Productions, opens at BO Baj tomorrow, with a preview tonight. The original movie took the country by storm 40 years ago, and the stage adaptation hit Broadway in 1998. Hank Santos stars as Ren McCormack, a city teen who shakes up a small town where dancing is banned, while Lindsay Jordan plays his love interest, Ariel Moore. Director Jeb Brown highlights the talent, selected from 1,800 auditions down to 22 performers. Aiden Boudro wins Mississippi Gatorade Player of the Year

Gulfport School District begins summer maintenance routine, prepares for new school year
SUMMARY: The Gulfport School District has initiated summer maintenance ahead of the new academic year.
