Arrest made in Jasper County human trafficking case

Another lawsuit filed against Rankin County sheriff

The incident occurred in 2021 when Bobbie Adams was allegedly bitten by a K-9 named Voodoo after being for a meth sale. Adams claims he was already handcuffed and not resisting arrest when the dog attacked him, causing punctured wounds and bone dislocation. Adams, who is serving time for the sale of methamphetamines, is seeking justice through this lawsuit.

Canton Flea Market kicks off early
