She joins our 12 News general manager Jeffrey Guy, news director Takahashi, and myself in this honor. Additionally, our Walt Grayson previously received the Gold Circle for over 50 years of service. Wreckage cleared from Vicksburg train derailment site

SUMMARY: Vicksburg fire officials report that all rail cars from the Thursday derailment at Malberry and Oak streets have been cleared, and rail traffic has resumed. A 50-year-old man sustained serious injuries during the incident and was transported to University Medical Center in Jackson. Investigators are currently looking into the cause of the derailment and are also trying to understand the circumstances surrounding the victim’s presence near the tracks at the time.
